A Birthday Straight Out of a Fairytale: My Magical Day at Disney World
There are birthdays… and then there are the kind that feel like they were written by magic itself.
This year, I got to celebrate my birthday in the most unforgettable way—surrounded by the people I love most, my family, in the happiest place on earth: Walt Disney World. And more specifically, inside the heart of it all—Magic Kingdom.
It was a day that felt soft, joyful, colorful… and completely mine.
We stayed at the iconic Disney’s Contemporary Resort. If you’ve ever stayed there, you already know… it’s not just a hotel, it’s an experience!
Waking up just steps away from Magic Kingdom, with the monorail gliding through the building, felt surreal. There’s something about being that close to the magic that makes everything feel elevated, like your whole day is wrapped in a little extra sparkle.
We had breakfast and dinner at Chef Mickey’s, which honestly made my birthday feel extra magical! There’s something so nostalgic and joyful about sitting down to eat while Mickey, Minnie, and friends come right up to your table. It’s playful, it’s loud, it’s full of laughter and being there with my family made it even more special. Breakfast and dinner, endless smiles, and the kind of memories you wish you could bottle up forever.

The Emporium Shop on Main Street is basically a dream for anyone who loves Disney—and I fully leaned in. One of my favorite parts of the day? My birthday photoshoot. Right in front of the castle, soaking in every bit of that golden, dreamy light. It felt like stepping into my own fairytale. These are the moments I live for… capturing not just how the day looked, but how it felt! Happy. Present. Loved.
We closed the night in the most magical way possible. Fireworks lighting up the sky. A parade glowing down Main Street. Me, standing there with a funnel cake in one hand and an iced cold brew in the other—just taking it all in. It was one of those moments where everything slows down, and you realize… this is it. This is what happiness feels like. This birthday wasn’t about big plans or perfect timing. It was about being surrounded by love, laughter, and a little bit of magic in every moment. And if there’s one thing I’m taking with me from this day, it’s this; life feels the most beautiful when you slow down enough to actually live it in full color.
